The Model A Ford is one of History’s famous automobiles. The name “Model A” is known by most people.  When discussed in public, this phrase instantly brings to mind the automobile made famous just before and after the wall street crash in 1929, and one in which a great number of families relied upon during the great depression of 1930 to 1937. This short history will first cover the rise of the automobile out of the horse and buggy days, go on to the early history of the Ford Motor Company, trace out the historical roots of the “Model A” in the legacy of the “Model T” , and finish with the development of the Model A Ford.

This book is laid out in chapters and will be published on the website of the Rocky Mountain A’s.  The Rocky Mountain A’s are a group of Model A Ford enthusiasts that live in central Colorado, primarily in Douglas, Elbert, and El Paso counties.
