A method for comparing radiators is shown, with charts comparing the cooling efficiency between 3 and 4 row radiators and various radiating fins per inch designs including replacement costs.. A discussion of the changes made between the 1928/29 and the 1930/31 model years, the engineering reasons, and why the flat tube 1930/31 radiators were much better than the round tube designs of 1928/29. The reason that a 4 row radiator made by Bert’s Model A Center is better than other after market replacement radiators for use here in the High Country of Colorado. A method for installing a 4 core radiator if you have a 4 blade fan which may cause an interference when installing the radiator.
