    QUILT’N A’s News

No news to report this month. Due to lack of interest, the Canyon Quilters will not be going to see the Gees Bend Quilts at the Denver Art Museum, as I reported in the May Newsletter, but we are still having our Quilt as you go workshop in July. Here’s the info on it:

We are having a Workshop on July 15 at 10am, taught by Pat Renz, one of our members. She is teaching “Quilt as you Go”. It’s a way to make your quilt one block at a time, that has been pieced, sandwiched, quilted and put together to make a whole quilt. Her example is beautiful and is a technique that would be a benefit for all of us to learn. This workshop will be held in the Rainbow Creek Clubhouse, just about 5 miles West of Sedalia. Bring a sack lunch, drink, and of course your sewing machine and sewing tools, material and thread. This should be very informative as well as fun!

If you are interested just call Bev, your editor and we’ll make room for you. I can’t include my phone number because this newsletter goes out on the web.
