First Tour held by the Rocky Mountain A’s was well attended, even if it was at the end of winter. At the time this was about all of the members which had joined the club. The club had been formed about 3 months before. This tour went to Simla Colorado, visited the “Paint Pots” an area used by the plains Indians.

Museum Tours are Popular We toured several museums this year. The Nash Rambler museum in Elizabeth was very interesting. This collector has over 750 AMC, Nash, and Hudson cars. As you can see, not all are restored. I took this pic since my dad bought one new when I was a kid. Boy was I embarrassed, my friends called it an upside down bath tub!

A Visit to Ken Petrie’s has become an annual event. Ken has a huge collection of Indianapolis Race Cars. Located in Parker, CO his museum is fantastic. Ken, in the yellow shirt is explaining how his race car works. Ken still races this car all over the country. We enjoyed a great potluck lunch in is museum, surrounded by his cars.
