Classifieds

Some Members have asked to advertise cars and parts for sale on this site. At this time the board has decided not to have a member’s only section available for you to upload classified advertisements to this site. Therefore; the webmaster has made available links which will allow you to upload your classified advertisements to other sites which have better(??) security and who deal with the issues of uploading, management, removal and culling out spam, pornography, and non-model A advertisements. In the future if there is enough member interest the board may revisit this issue (contact Marie Robinette).

The Links below are provided for your use, the webmaster does not assume any responsibility for the activities and reliability of these sites

Warning about scams on the Internet

Be very careful whom you deal with, particularly with offers received from overseas.

If you receive a check, bank check, or money order with a face value higher than your asking price, be especially careful. DO NOT deposit the check until you are absolutely sure of the buyer's identity! Details on how this scam operates can be found on the following Web site:

http://www.crimes-of-persuasion.com/Nigerian/nigerian_auction_scams.htm

This should be mandatory reading for anyone listing an article of value on the Internet.
